It is very important to me that you're able to contact me with any concerns you may have during the school year.
E-mail Mrs. Axley (Please only use when school is in session)

By Phone: The school phone number is 678-482-1000. A teacher's hours are generally 7:35-3:30 or 4:00. You may call and leave a message for me to give you a call, and the secretaries will e-mail me your message. I will return your call after the students leave or during our special's time if I receive your message prior to specials. Your call is important to me. Please remember that I cannot stop teaching to give you call, but I will get to you as soon as I can. By E-mail: Please feel free to e-mail me at the link provided. This link comes directly to my computer at school. However, please remember that I am not always able to answer your e-mail until the students have left for the day. I'm sure you can appreciate that teaching is my number one job, and I don't always have a break to stop and read and answer e-mail during the day. If you're requesting a phone call, please leave a number(s) you can be reached. By Note: It has been my experience that this is the least effective means of communication depending on the child. If you've not heard back from me by either note or phone call within 24 hours, please contact me by another form of communication. Sometimes notes do not leave bookbags either coming or going. Personal Conference: Anytime you feel a personal conference would be more beneficial for your concerns, please don't hesitate to request a conference by one of the other means mentioned. I may request them myself if I feel a face-to-face conference would be best. I may request a conference for a variety of reasons such as: academic, behavioral, social, or emotional concerns. Many times I will ask that your child sit in on part or all of the conference. However, this will depend on what the conference is about, and I'm very sensitive to when this is and is not appropriate.
